WHO WE ARE

Drawing inspiration from nature and deploying creativity to transform some of the most beautiful natural materials into contemporary, timeless pieces. This is where nature meets design. This is ALAN HORGAN STUDIO.

OUR MISSION

Our goal is to deliver beauty and luxury to your surroundings – be it a residential, commercial or retail space – through contemporary design-led pieces that are handcrafted from the finest natural materials and made to last over generations.

CORE VALUES

Respect for nature, the environment and people, creativity and self-expression, product quality and commitment to our customers are some of the values we uphold. These are the ideals that guide our day-to-day activities and inspire us to strive for excellence in everything we do.

OUR STORY

Alan Horgan Studio is based in Blackwater Valley in the south of Ireland, where its natural surroundings influence the composition of our pieces. Founded in 2013 by Alan Horgan, a self-taught furniture designer-maker, the studio has since evolved into a multifaceted business and expanded its production into the lighting and more recently in the wall coverings category. All pieces are made using the finest native and exotic hardwoods and veneers, coupled with complementary materials. Employing traditional and innovative methods, Alan manages to create timeless design-led yet functional pieces. Today, we are a design-led boutique manufacturer serving the fine furniture, contemporary lighting and decorative surface markets.

DESIGN & CRAFTSMANSHIP

Our passion for design and natural materials – the core of Alan Horgan Studio’s ethos – coupled with skilled craftsmanship and an eye for detail, is fully embodied in our timeless contemporary pieces. Each piece is crafted to perfection, imbuing interiors with a luxury feel and elegant ambience.

SUSTAINABILITY

Our pieces are made to last, and as such are commissioned or acquired by our clients with a view of passing them on to the next generations. We care for the environment and to that end, we source our woods and veneers from suppliers who are certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC). The FSC Certification was put in place to ensure seamless accountability from the forest to the end customer.
